A 33km race that travels from the top of the mountain, down through snow, across a glacier, over rocks that you can only see to believe, past the town and that's only the half way point. The race then continues right down to the bottom of the valley but not before the most challenging single track as its not all downhill. They throw plenty of uphill climbs in there for good measure. The race ends with a quick dash along the river track through the finish line to a well-deserved rest, a meal and then the bus and cable car back to Alpe D'huez.

This year if you are planning on taking on the Megavalanche why not take advantage of our mega holiday deal . This will be our 4th year and each has gone from strength to strength. Our week caters for individuals to large groups and what we have found is that the people that have come out on their own go home with a whole new group of mates, keep in contact and even meet up at other events.

What you get in booking with us that you don't get with other holiday companies or booking it on your own includes great accommodation, lockable storage along with a large group of riders that are always around to help out with mechanicals, which happen nearly every day. Also, if you're totally new to the race and the area, you can take advantage of our knowledge, we can help with the best ways of training for the race and if you do manage to hurt yourself, we can get you straight to medical assistance.

On arrival you will be greeted with a beer or a soft drink and a bbq . What we have found is that most people want to chill out and build their bikes up so they are ready for the morning. We will also be running a Q&A session for the people that are new to the mega to help out where ever we can.

Depending on the package you have chosen, your event could run from 5th - 11th July. The Enduro Vaujany race is new this year and runs earlier than previously advertised. Therefore, we are opening the chalet from Sunday 4th - Monday 12th to allow for this. You can get a few days extra practice in beforehand or just find your way around the resort. We have also chosen to stay on till Monday 12th so you can relax after the event and enjoy your success rather than rushing back home.

This week will be based on 2 people sharing a room on a Bed & Breakfast basis and will include the following:

Pick up from Geneva Airport
Transport to and from Alpe D'huez.
Accommodation for the week in Alpe d'Huez.
